What (6 year old) Little B thinks of Monkey Quest: Now yes I know that if someone wants the info badly enough there are probably ways to get around it but Nickelodeon eases my mind with this being Little B's first online gaming experience. Hes not interested in the chat or friending other monkeys he is there just for the adventures and thanks to Nickelodeon the words and phrases are pre approved for chats. WoW) he cant give out any personal information if asked. As with many other Massive Multiplayer Online Role Playing Game (ahem. I have control over what can be shared in chat. That's one thing about the Nickelodeon online games like Monkey Quest that I really like. If he were a little older he could do it all on his own. he can read some of the stories on his own but I read to him so we can get our quest moving. He does the controls on the keyboard and I read to him. Little B and I have been enjoying Monkey Quest together.

I think that it would be better if you had to go to Monkey Quest training camp to learn how to master things instead of being thrown right into playing. Even though our Monkey Quest strategy guide tells you what keys on the keyboard you'll need it's hard to just jump right into a quest when the game play is new to you.
Once Adah was ready for her adventure it throws you right into Ook. The first name is the first name and the last 2 names are put together for the last name. We went with the dice and our monkey was named Adah Wisepaw. You can click through each of the 3 choices or you can click the dice and have names randomly chosen. Once you have your monkey all ready for adventure you get to choose a fun, mixed up name for your monkey. They offer many interesting hairstyles thats for sure. Little B had a lot of laughs as we clicked through the many looks that you can choose for your monkey. We made our first monkey a blue monkey with tan/brown skin. Once you have an account and you're ready to play you can create your own monkey. With a paid membership you enter the number off the back of the game play card and set up an account.

To get started you can either play for free (limited free play like most "free games") or you can purchase a Nickelodeon Game Play card to get a membership to play Monkey Quest. Generations have since passed and now Shadows from Ka's army are starting to seep back into the darkest reaches of the jungle. What exactly is Monkey Quest all about? Monkey Quest takes place in the land known as Ook. Now Little B is all most 7 but he loves anything that has 'game' in it so of course he kept asking and asking when were we going to play Monkey Quest. With a $25 Nickelodeon gaming card(with a $15 game play bonus) to try out the new Nickelodeon online game for 8-12 year olds called Monkey Quest. Thanks to Nickelodeon was able to introduce him to the online side of game playing. I'd let him (under my watch) play a few computer games that we own. I don't let him play the online games because I felt that 6 was just too young to be out in the big (sometimes scary world) of the internet. Litte B has just now got in to playing computer games.
